Community & School Yard Signs

Show your school & community spirit!

This pandemic has changed so much of our daily lives.  But the one thing it cannot take away is our wonderful Bay Area community.  We are all connected to each other.  You are a part of your street, your neighborhood.  Your child is still a student of their school.  Let’s spread the love and show support to each other during this crazy time.  A sign in your yard or front window will show your neighbors that you are a proud member of your community.  You care about your school.

One thing that we know for sure-WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

You can display your sign at your home or business.  Currently there are signs for Willow Glen High & Middle Schools, Schallenberger Elementary, #WillowGlenStrong, #SanJoseStrong.  If you have a group or school that would like a sign, please contact me @  Minimum of 20 signs for a custom design.

Giving Back-$10 of each sign* will go Willow Glen Cares which funds school supplies and basic needs for under privileged students at Willow Glen Middle and High Schools.  *Target goal is $10, but actual donation depends on final material costs.

Willow Glen High Class of 2020 Sign Project-I am honored to be a part of the Willow Glen High Class of 2020 Yard Sign Project.  The Willow Glen Education Foundation has generously stepped up and sponsored a sign for each of their 370 seniors.  Thank you to RISE Fulfillment Network for partnering with us and distributing the yard signs to each senior.  I even got interviewed by NBC11 Bay Area News.  Check it out: NBC11 News Story

Confessions of a Bad Blogger

I have a confession to make.  I am a bad blogger.  A reluctant web designer.  I actually work a lot, take tons of pics of seniors, families, branding, events, head shots and architectural.  I have even started ANOTHER company called Take2 Photography specializing in preschool pictures, formal senior portraits, sport teams & school yearbook pictures-but if you look at my website, it doesn’t show all that.  Hmmm.  I could do better.  A lot better.  Setting up a a new post isn’t hard exactly, but it’s a bit complicated and fairly TIME CONSUMING, so I push it off.  And then it appears like I haven’t been working.  It’s bad, I know, but this is how it is.  I do post on facebook quite a bit, but that’s not the same.  So here is a post with lots of content.  A compilation of pics from what I have worked on in the last year.  I hope you enjoy them.

2019 Senior Session-Sarah P.

Senior pics!  Check out this Senior-19 Session.  Sarah is from Willow Glen High School and just graduated!  We snuck in this session the week before school ended.  The weather cooperated as it was the first warm day after many cloudy and rainy days.  I love how each senior’s personality comes through.  She was soft, yet confident-really lovely.  I took her sister’s pictures 2 years ago when she graduated and I am honored to take Sarah’s, too.  Good luck Sarah as you start your journey after high school.

Willow Glen 8th Grade Dance

YOU’RE A STAR!  That was the theme of the Willow Glen Middle 8th grade dance.  I was on the red carpet taking pictures of all the stars.  The parents did a great job decorating and making this a night to remember.  This was a labor of love for me. Such great kids!! Many I haven’t seen since 5th grade-they have grown and matured so much in 3 years. The shot at the end is the kids rushing the dessert table. It was a little bit of chaos, but no injuries, so it was all good!

The fabulous Mr. Slayton holding back the 8th graders until the dessert table was ready.  Then they rushed the table-it was picked clean in about 90 seconds.
